Teatime, Brunch, and Lunch
Our chefs visit local fish markets, farms, and orchards to find the best ingredients of each season. We use spring water from the Hakone mountains, which makes our dishes very special, too. Don’t miss our signature afternoon tea set, including Inari-sushi, seafood tapas, mochi, fluffy cake, Kanten agar jelly, and other seasonal sweets.
Roast tea at our cafe
Our local tea farmers bring their best tea leaves directly from their farms to our café. We roast tea at our café freshly every day. Its dreamy aroma will relax your whole body.
A Preserved Traditional Building
Café Shaza is located in a renovated traditional Japanese house. You can enjoy your lunch or teatime while looking at a beautiful garden. Enjoy the colors of the seasons: cheerful green in spring and summer; passionate red and orange in autumn; and snowy white in winter.
Kamaboko is an authentic Japanese seafood, with a history dating back to the 12th century. Eaten by samurai and nobility, it is now a popular healthy food enjoyed all over Japan. Suzuhiro has continued the traditional art of making kamaboko for generations.
